It is difficult to know where to start with the multitude of delights that sub-tropical Queensland holidays can offer. If you're looking to do a bit of travelling in Australia it's perfect, with the route between Brisbane and Cairns hugely popular for travellers of all ages

Fly into Brisbane and head north to sample the Sunshine Coast, starting with the elegant yet relaxed Noosa, defined by its beautiful beaches and inland lakes.  Further up you will hit Hervey Bay, from where you can head over to Fraser Island, a sand island which is served by a daily influx of self-drive 4WD tours.  Pitch your own tent and cook up some food before the Milky Way comes out to illuminate your night across one of the most magnificent skies you could hope to see.

Further north you'll find Airlie Beach, the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands.  Take a two night cruise on any of a multitude of boats, or experience a bird’s eye view of the islands while jumping out of a plane at 14,000ft!
