We’ve said it many times before, but we love seeing what other people get up to on their travels. There’s no better way of finding out what a place is like before we go than by talking to someone who’s already been! This week we were distracted looking at photos of one of the United States’ most vibrant and exciting cities – New Orleans. Famed for its jazz, Southern food, incredible plantation houses and, of course, their insatiable desire to host a party we loved Anita Mac’s photos and how they captured the essence of the city.
Anita took these photos as part of a trip there around St Patrick’s day this year (although that’s a whole other story), she’s currently travelling around the world ticking things off on her ever-expanding bucket list, and writing all about them on her amazing blog traveldestinationbucketlist.com. Now travelling with five different bucket lists she’s definitely going to be kept busy; as she puts it: “So many places calling to be explored, cultures to experience, cuisines to try and memories to create” – we couldn’t agree more.
You can see all the photos from her time in New Orleans here – traveldestinationbucketlist.com/2013/03/20/new-orleans-bucket-list-things-to-do-in-the-big-easy/
